To quit smoking hypnosis is a most powerful way to accomplish your goal.

You know how difficult it is to quit smoking and have pretty much given up on trying. You've quit for a while and then started up again. Or you buy one pack of cigarettes at a time, telling yourself it is your last pack.

Some questions you need to ask yourself prior to creating self hypnosis suggestions are:

  • Why do you want to quit smoking?
  • Do you believe that smoking is an addiction?
  • Do you receive pleasure from smoking?

  • What "pain" do you expect to have if you don't stop smoking?
  • Do you believe that you can stop smoking?
  • How will stopping smoking change your life?
  • Why do you want to quit smoking?

    You need to answer these questions because your quit smoking hypnosis suggestions should be based on your own personal assessment of your situation.

    Your reason to quit smoking is the most important.

    You need to want to quit smoking for yourself. If you are quitting because your spouse, or fiance, or son or daughter wants you to quit, your personal desire won't be strong enough for your subconscious to overpower.

    Remember, hypnosis only works if you truely want it to work. You and only you must have the desire to achieve your goals.

    Someone else wanting those goals for you isn't a good enough reason.

    Do you believe that smoking is an addiction?

    It is important for you to know if you think smoking is an addiction, either physical or psychological. If you believe it is an addiction, your subconscious mind will believe it as well and you need to program your subconscious through your quit smoking hypnosis suggestions that smoking is not an addition.

    Do you receive pleasure from smoking?

    If you receive pleasure from smoking, what type of pleasure is it? Do you like the taste? Does smoking make you feel self-confident and social? Do you get a buzz? Write down what you like about smoking, because you need to formulate a quit smoking hypnosis suggestion that turns the pleasure you get into a negative.

    Do you believe that you can stop smoking?

    If you want to quit smoking, it is important that you believe you can. Remember, what the mind believes, it can achieve! If you think you can't stop smoking, they you are already programmed for failure. You need to build into your suggestions reasons you can succeed.

    What "pain" do you expect to have if you don't stop smoking?

    Do you believe that you will become wrinkled, hoarse and get lung cancer? Do you beleive that you will continue to feel ostracized as more and more people are non-smokers?

    Build that negative into your suggestions so that your subconscious will want you to stay away from smoking.

    Do you know why you can't stop smoking?

    You need to write down the reasons you believe you can't stop smoking.

    Is it because your spouse smokes, you friends smoke, you hang out where other people smoke? Your quit smoking hypnosis suggestions need to direct you away from the reasons you have to smoke and toward other options.

    How will stopping smoking change your life?

    A quit smoking support program to help you stop smoking for good.

    Think of all the good things that will happen as a result of quitting smoking.

    Will you smell better? Will your food taste better? Will you no longer smell of tobacco smoke? Will your lungs start to clear? Will you avoid excess wrinkles at an early age? Include every positive you will achieve by quitting smoking in your self hypnosis suggestions.
