Stress Management and Stress Reduction Using Hypnosis Technique

Stress is a modern affliction. We're all under stress and stress management seems to elude us.

The first thing you need to do is figure out what stress is. Stress is caused by something unfinished. It could be a task you started and haven't completed and your subconscious mind is nagging you to finish it.

Or it could be some relationship issue that hasn't been reconciled.

Stress is your response to threatening situations. Stress comes from the same automatic responses that were once life saving when our ancestors gathered berries and hunted their food.

Now, your world is much more stressful. You have a lot more on your mind than hunting and gathering food. You're worried about war, pollution, global warming, inflation-- the list goes on and on.

Do you find you can't turn off your thoughts?

Fight or Flight

When threatened, both humans and animals will either stand their ground and fight, or run as fast as possible.

When you are stressed out, it mimics the feeling of being threatened. Stress works on your sympathetic nervous system and creates a condition of hyperalertness--you are in a state of excessive watchfulness or of being constantly on guard.

You can recognize your stress through physical signs, psychological signs and behavioral signs.

The key to your stress reduction is to recognize what is causing your stress (what is unfinished) and then use hypnosis therapy techniques to reduce your stress. Techniques that are effective in relieving stress are proper breathing, self-relaxation, pre-sleep technique, using a reinforcement script, and a stress reduction action plan.
